Biography:	Ian joined Teleplan in 1999 and heads the Technical Services group, which provides a range of services including project management, LCD/FPD engineering, analytical laboratory, storage test software, industrial engineering and logistics. The logistics team work with major transport suppliers to design and implement reverse logistics solutions for Teleplan customers. Previous experience includes operational, engineering and field service management roles with IBM and Xyratex.
Presentation:	Challenges of Reverse Supply Chain Logistics
Abstract:	The reverse supply chain process is a problematic aspect of customer service, leading to disproportionate customer dissatisfaction. The presentation describes the elements of the process and some tools developed to enable more comprehensive and pro-active management of all parties involved in the reverse supply chain. These include the customer, the call centre, logistics providers and the repair centres.
