Biography:	Tracey Stephens is a founding employee and Sales and Marketing Manager of Plastic Logic, a leading developer of plastic electronics technology. Before joining Plastic Logic, Ms. Stephens spent 15 years with Hewlett-Packard in management, marketing and engineering roles. She earned her MBA from the Judge Institute, University of Cambridge, and her first degree is in physics and mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado.

Abstract:	A combination of enabling technologies including surface-directed inkjet printing, self-organising semi-conducting polymers and local alignment techniques, provide new opportunities for the fabrication of active microelectronics for low-cost, large-area and flexible display applications. Low temperatures, the elimination of photolithography and the inherent programmability of the printing process make this an exciting technology for flat-panel LCD and electronic-paper, active-matrix back-planes.
