Biography: Gurdip Parmar has over 13 years of association with the LCD industry. He is currently General Manager of the LCD Business Unit at Sony Semiconductor and Electronic Devices Division, located in San Jose, CA, USA, with responsibility for Sony LCD's business development and business management for the whole of North America. He is also responsible for new marketing strategy development and product marketing. Over the past four years, Gurdip has successfully established a dedicated Sony LCD team to support many unique design requirements of major PDA and Smart Communication Device developers and manufacturers.
Prior to joining Sony, Gurdip was with Seiko Epson and Philips for a number of years, developing and implementing LCD business strategies from a product engineering and marketing point of view.
