Biography: Since joining Dell in November 1995, David has overseen the growth and success of the Latitude brand in the EMEA region and is responsible for further consolidating Dell's success in the mobile market with the expansion of the notebook ranges to address new product categories, including GPRS solutions and Pocket PC/Hand-held devices. Prior to joining Dell, David held the position of Sales and Marketing Manager for notebook computers at Panasonic and played a key role in developing and project-managing a ruggedised notebook solution for a large utility company - which has since emerged as a niche market in its own right. Prior to this, David worked at: AEG Olympia, a German company, as Product Marketing Manager for Computers; Epson UK, as Business Manager for Portables; and British Telecom in a senior services, product marketing role. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Liverpool University, as well as professional qualifications from The Market Research Society and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
