Biography:
|
Andreas Ditter graduated in 1992 from the University of Rheinland Pfalz, Germany, with a degree in Information Technology and Economics.
Later that year, he joined Olivetti GmbH as Systems Engineer, Office Automation. In 1995, Andreas was appointed as Product Manager, Notebooks,
Central Europe.
In 1996 he extended his product responsibilities to PCs and Servers before a move to Italy beckoned, where he was appointed Notebook Business Unit
Manager for Olivetti Personal Computers S.p.A. worldwide.
A year later, Andreas left Olivetti to join Sony Information Technology Europe in Brussels as the Senior Marketing Manager to introduce Sony's new
VAIO PCs into the European Market.
With the successful launch of VAIO Notebooks and a continuous expansion of markets and market share, he was promoted to oversee the entire IT Marketing
for VAIO Notebooks, Desktops and CLIÉ Handheld PCs.
In April 2002 Andreas was appointed Marketing & Sales Director at Sony ITE. He continues in this role today.

together with new product concepts, will make Sony a successful player in the IT industry.
