Biography:	Douglas Brands founded Brands Electronics in 1986 with his brother Tom. By 2001 the company had grown sales to over $84m supporting products for blue chip companies. The business is represented in Asia, North America, South America and Europe. The business was sold in July to Macfarlane Group PLC, where he remains as CEO developing new business.
Presentation:	Web-based warranty reporting and tracking
Abstract:	Customer service is managed by most OEM's through a cost down philosophy and does not tackle the root cause. Most service providers would agree that lack of spares and incorrect product mix are not receiving the attention they deserve. WEB based systems challenge everyone involved in the process, manufacturer and service partner, to be cost effective.
